A dog puppy <\/strong>knows he is not capable to live by himself. This is why he search another animal who can protect him. <\/strong>If you are the owner, he must recognize you as the human being capable to protect him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the best ways to consolidate this bond are walks. <\/strong>If possible, you should take your puppy to walk in safe places without cars or other persons. Walk with a regular rhythm and change direction, in this way your dog will understand he has to follow your steps. It is also important to give the puppy moments of solitude.<\/strong> Otherwise, he may become too addicted to your presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his first weeks it is preferable to not wash him. <\/strong>Still, dog hygiene is important. You can wash him with a wet towel. Remember to check his ears, eyes and toes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Before the poodle completed his first vaccine triage, it is important for him to do not meet other dogs to avoid the spread of diseases while is not already protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his first nights he may bark or cry: <\/strong>That is a normal behave. For this reason, put the cage, or kennel, in a place where he can still see you. Don\u2019t put the puppy in the bed with you, this may lead to bad habits very hard to eliminate in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
